LakeMac.Tech Policy

1. Establishment

a. As part of the launch of LakeMac.Tech in 2022, it was determined that membership requirements for Consortium Members of
LakeMac.Tech (the “Consortium”) be created and enforced from inception.

b. The Founding Members of the Consortium determined that establishing a Membership Policy for Consortium Members was critical
for the integrity of the LakeMac.Tech Consortium.

2. Membership

a. Consortium Members means those entities, organisations, etc, who are admitted to membership of the Consortium pursuant to the
Membership Requirements.

3. Membership Requirements

a. To qualify as a Consortium Member of LakeMac.Tech, members must be guided by the core values of:
Collaboration;
Respect;
Inclusion;
Service; and
Professionalism

b. Consortium Members are required to heed the standards and guidelines generally considered to be acceptable per the NSW Small
Business Commissioner and other Government business Departments/etc.

c. Consortium Members should possess some level of expertise in their specific realm – so as to ensure they are of a Technical Expert
standard, and able to deliver on outside-the-box thought processes.

d. Consortium Members should act as an advocate for LakeMac.Tech where it is appropriate to do so, as this in turn benefits
Consortium Members, clients and prospects, as well as the local economy.

e. Consortium Members must have a business/registered/office address within the Lake Macquarie region of NSW, verifiable on the
Australian Business Register, ASIC Extract, etc.

f. Consortium Members need to appoint a personal representative from their entity/organisation to interact with the Consortium and
prospects.

4. Membership Application

a. Admission to membership as a Consortium Member is at the discretion of the Founding Members of the Consortium by majority vote.

b. Application for admission as a Consortium Member is to be made pursuant to the internal application process.

c. The admission-processing Founding Member is to notify all Members when an admission is made.

5. Founding Members of LMT

a. Below are the Founding Members of LakeMac.Tech:
i. LEOPARD.host
ii. psyborg
iii. Jaegersoft
iv. Galah Cyber
v. SAPHI Engineering
vi. Creative Pipeline

6. Lead Handling & Referral

a. Inbound leads received by the Consortium will be distributed to Members via email. There is provision for this to mean
forwarding/routing into each Member’s system/CRM/etc for more efficient handling.

b. Members of the Consortium are encouraged to respond to interested parties promptly where they or a contact in the region may be
able to assist or otherwise guide the prospect.
i. There is no binding requirement for any Member to facilitate or deliver services/products to any lead/prospect. Their regular
policies and procedures may apply.
ii. It is expected however that if an inbound lead/prospect is received by all Members and is either not suitable or not to be handled,
that is communicated.
iii. In the event of a no-reply, the prospect should be referred onto local Business Support service/s, such as The Business
Centre, for assistance.
iv. Where there is potential to have more than 1 Consortium Member work with an interested party, the opportunity should be explored
to do so.
v. If an interested party is being “looked after” by a Member and they choose to not continue, this should be communicated to all
Members.

7. Cessation of Membership

a. A member ceases to be a Consortium Member if:
i. the member ceases to exist or ceases operations; or
ii. the member notifies the Founding Members that they wish to withdraw their membership; or
iii. attempts to contact the member 3 times in a 28 day period, each spaced by at least 5 business days, are unsuccessful; or
iv. there is negative press and unresolved problems known of with regard to a member, and no explanation/resolution is provided; or
v. the representative of the member dies and the Founding Members of the Consortium are unable to arrange a replacement by
way of contacting the member’s entity; or
vi. the member (being a corporation or government) has a receiver or receiver and manager appointed or take any action having the
effect of winding up the Consortium Member

By registering as a member of the LakeMac.Tech Consortium, you consent to receive Consortium Update emails and other such emails as
sent from time to time by the Founding Member/s. Your consent to recieve these communications can be withdrawn at any time, however
this implies a desire to cease membership. Your membership within the LakeMac.Tech Consortium can be withdrawn at any time of your
choosing by sending an email to all of the Founding Members.
